Legal consequences for this...?

Last Sunday, an old house-like building that used to be a daycare center was damaged in a fire. The majority of the building is destroyed. The daycare center had been out of operation for a little over 10 years. The person who took over the center was devastated (I know her because she was a teacher when I was in 8th grade) when she had seen the charred remains of the building. Her mother started the daycare center back in 1987, but she is deceased now and her daughter and family had taken over thereafter. I think that they closed down in 2001. The abandoned building is still standing only be fluke, but it is probably very weak due to the beams and supports being damaged in the blaze. If I was to throw enough bricks and rocks at the building and break the windows and knock it down completely, could I get in trouble even though the building is "no good"? The building is no longer safe or usable. Could I get into trouble for destroying it or what's left of it?|||yes you could, you would be arrested for criminal damage. even though the building is falling down already.
